Human Trafficking Event - January 12th, 2025

The Community Life Center and our church had the pleasure of hosting this event that was attended by @54 people. The panel of speakers included representatives from the State’s Attorney’s Office, the MD State’s Human Trafficking Task Force, the State Police Child Recovery Unit, the Sheriff’s Office, Unstoppable You Ministries, Center for Children, the Center for Change, Calvert Health and the Commission for Women. After the introductions, each representative gave a brief review of their work in Southern Maryland. This was followed by a question/answer time that had many particularly good questions.
